Day 1
Departs daily from Kasane:
On arrival at Kasane Airport you will be met by a Desert & Delta Safaris
representative and taken by vehicle to the Botswana border where you will
be taken by private speed boat to the remote Chobe Savanna Lodge passing
through Namibia border formalities en route.
Enjoy 2 nights at Chobe Savanna Lodge on a fully inclusive basis.

Surrounded by the Chobe River on
a peninsular in neighboring Namibia, Chobe Savanna Lodge offers discerning
guests a hideaway for those looking for an exclusive Chobe River experience.
Located across the river from the Chobe National Park's vast seasonal
floodplains called the Puku Flats, the area is renowned for its large game
diversity and prolific wildlife.
The area so named because of the rare Puku (an
antelope of similar size and structure to an impala), is home to large herds of
buffalo, elephant and sable as well as high concentrations of giraffe, wild dog
and lion which come to the rivers edge to drink and graze.
Day 2
The charm of
Chobe Savanna, with its sweeping views and wide vistas, lies in its
beauty, peace and tranquility, far from the "madding crowds" of large
cruise boats and game drive vehicles. Those who wish to explore the
surrounding Chobe River will not be disappointed as all guests will be
treated to the services of a resident professional guide whose intimate
knowledge of the area will make for an unforgettable experience.
Guests have a choice
of walking safaris to one of the surrounding private conservancies
that make up Savanna or boat excursions by small highly
maneuverable speedboats, ideal for close up encounters with large
game along the rivers edge. (An
excursion to the local Kuomboka and Barotseland community
that inhabit
remote areas of the Chobe River will be arranged to witness real
African life.)
Day 3
This morning you will return
by private boat to Kasane, passing through Namibia/Botswana border
formalities en route. On arrival at Kasane you will be taken by
vehicle to Kasane airport for your charter flight to the arid
Savute region of the Chobe National Park, Botswana's largest
National Park. This afternoon enjoy your visit game drive in the
incredible Savute landscape. Enjoy 2 nights at Savute Safari Lodge
on a fully inclusive basis. Savute Safari Lodge peers out
from ancient camel thorn trees on the shore of the channel. The lounge,
library and cocktail bar are situated in the exquisite thatch and timber
main building, where an upstairs viewing deck allows Savute's enchanting
sunsets to mesmerize guests. A large fireplace downstairs is equally
inviting on winter nights, while the delicious aroma of dinner and the
prospect of candlelit dining beckons guests to the elegant dining room.
The lodge also boasts a swimming pool and shaded viewing deck, both of
which overlook the channel, and where afternoon tea is served and guests
can sit around the campfire after dinner.
Day 4
Today enjoy an excursion to the San rock art paintings, which depict early
man's wildlife sightings as well as a full day of morning and afternoon
game.
Day 5
After an early safari activity and
breakfast, it's time to return to Kasane Airport by private light aircraft,
where you will be met by Desert & Delta Safaris representative and assisted with
your onward arrangements.
